Privacy Policy

Pocket Opex helps private delivery teams manage vehicles, work records and manually recorded finances.

Information you provide

The app stores your account identifier, display name, optional profile photo, fleet membership and join requests. Fleet records can include vehicle details, delivery locations, instructions, references, checklist progress, notes, photos, timestamps, order amounts, payment status, expenses and receipt images. Only add information that you are entitled to share with your team.

How information is used

These records let the fleet owner manage work, approve members, track completed deliveries and view recorded finances. Workers can access the work available to them and record their progress. Financial records are available to the owner. Names, notes and photos are shared within the relevant fleet according to each person's role; they are not posted to a public feed.

Payment status records money received outside the app. Pocket Opex does not process payments, connect to bank accounts or collect card details. It does not request your device location or track vehicle movements.

Storage and service providers

Account access and fleet records are processed and stored using Google Firebase services. These providers process data to operate the service. Records are sent over encrypted connections, with access restricted by account and fleet permissions. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

The device retains session credentials and local preferences. Selected photos are resized and re-encoded before upload, without retaining their original image metadata. Temporary image copies and in-memory image caches are used to display and prepare photos. The app does not include advertising, cross-app tracking or an analytics SDK.

Photos and shared reports

Camera and photo-library access is optional and used when you choose to add a profile, work or receipt image. You can decline access and continue using other features. You control these permissions in iPhone Settings. Owners can create a PDF report and choose where to save or share it. Copies shared outside Pocket Opex are controlled by the selected destination and recipient.

Keeping and deleting records

Fleet records remain available until removed through the app or the fleet is deleted. Owners can delete their account and fleet through Settings. Workers can delete their account through Settings; this removes their personal notes and photos and removes their identity from retained shared work history. Completed work history can remain with neutral former-member labels. Active work can be handed back to the fleet. Deletion requires a connection; keep the app open and follow any retry instructions until it confirms completion.

Leaving a fleet ends membership but does not delete the account or all historical contributions. Removing the app from your phone is not an account-deletion request. Access is linked to your device session; an invitation code cannot recover a lost account or transfer ownership.

Support submissions

The Support Form does not require an account or sign-in. It stores the topic, message, optional name and contact details, submission time and limited page/browser information for reviewing app issues, questions and feedback. Submissions are not publicly readable. Support submissions remain stored for review until removed; there is no automatic expiry schedule. Do not include passwords, invitation codes, payment details or other sensitive information.

Adults only

Pocket Opex is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. Anyone under 18 must not use the app or submit information.
